President Ruto and Raila Odinga reach agreement after Nigeria president intervention!

President William Ruto and Azimio la Umoja one Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga have come to agreement on the way forward.

In a statement sent to news room on Saturday 29th July, the opposition leader revealed that they have come to an agreement with the head of state on how to end political issues.

Raila pointed out that he and the president have resolved to come up with a team of ten-members each side o have five people.

“We have, therefore, agreed with Kenya Kwanza to establish a committee of ten, composed of five members each from Azimio La Umoja and Kenya Kwanza. 

“They include four(4) members from outside Parliament; two(2) from each side. The Leaders of Majority and Minority from the National Assembly,  four (4) additional Members of Parliament; two (2) from each side,” the statement read in parts. 

The two leaders reached the agreement after an intervention by former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo who had several meetings with both teams. More
