Martha Karua speaks way forward in Azimio after launching Kamwene!

Narc kenya party leader Martha Karua speaks her way forward after launching Kamwene party.

She maintained that despite launching the Kamwene party, she and Jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni were still in the Raila Odinga-led Azimio la Umoja coalition.

Addressing the media on Monday, October 23rd, after officially launching the Kamwene Forum, the outspoken politician pointed out that she is in the Azimio coalition to stay but will use the Kamwene Forum to advance the interests of the Mt Kenya region.

“We are in Azimio to stay but we still have Kamwene forum to caucus about the Mt Kenya region,” said Karua.

Karua at the same time downplayed Azimio leader Raila Odinga’s comments that appeared as a formal endorsement of Wiper Party Leader Kalonzo Musyoka which he later clarified to be misconstructed.

She, however noted that the opposition leader has a right to endorse anyone he wants but that will not curtail the chances of other interested people.

“It is Raila’s entitlement to endorse anyone never mind that he wrote a statement of clarification. Even if he had endorsed it will be within his right.

“The thing to note is that an endorsement does not in any way curtail the chances of any other person who may wish to enter the race.

“Right now we are not talking about elections we are talking about the unity of Mt Kenya people and Kalonzo Musyoka is our brother,” Martha Karua stated. More
