Dp Rigathi under fire over his remarks on who owns government!

Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua is under sharp criticism over his recent remarks about who owns government and who is the biggest stakeholder in it.

Speaking on Sunday,, February 20 in Kericho County, the country’s second in command pointed out that those who voted for the government will enjoy the benefit first.

The Dp went on to equal the people who voted for Kenya Kwanza government as the major stakeholders, saying that the government is like a company and there are those with big shares and others with few shares.

“This Government is like a company guaranteed by shares. There are those with many shares and those with few shares. Therefore those who voted for us and supported us must enjoy the benefits first,” Gachagua said.

Gachagua’s remarks didn’t land well with a section of opposition leaders who slammed him stating that every Kenyan pays taxes and should be served equally by the State.
