President William Ruto on Wednesday 16th November 2022, had a meeting with founder of Microsoft at the state house, Nairobi a day after landing in Kenya.
During the meeting, the 5th president of Kenya said that Kenya will partner with Bill Gate on matters Universal Health coverage and food security that is currently ravaging the country.
“The Kenya Kwanza government will continue to collaborate with all partners towards the realization of food security and universal health coverage,” President William Ruto.
The president recognized the support offered by Bill and Melinda Gates foundation in the country.
“We appreciate the support it continues to extend to Kenya in realising our development goals, especially in the areas of healthcare, agriculture and ICT sectors,” Ruto said.
Cabinet secretaries Njuguna Ndung’u (Treasury) and his Agriculture counterpart Mithika Linturi were among those present during the event.
This comes a day after the the world’s richest person landed in Kenya and toured Makueni County where he was welcomed by governor Mutula Kilonzo Junior.
