The lady who killed Kilifi county official arrested, reveals new details!

The main suspect linked to the murder of Kilifi county Chief Officer, Rahab Karisa has been nabbed by police officer in Bungoma county, while on her way to Uganda.

According to the police reports, the suspect who’s name is Diana Naliaka, had no registered national identity card and that has been using an identity card belonging to her aunt identified as Sarah Nekesa Barasa.

“It is the same identity card that she registered her mobile phone number with, which she uses for communicating and mobile money transactions,” Kilifi County Criminal Investigation Officer David Siele told the media.

Diana Naliaka who was serving Karisa Rahab as her house maid is suspected to have stabbed her boss on Thursday 20th July before fleeing the scene.

Rahab met her death hours after jetting in back to the country after an official trip from Italy.

In a statement, kilifi governor Gideon Mung’aro Mourned Amani as a talented and hardworking officer who had a bright future.

“It is with great shock, disbelief and profound sadness that I announce the untimely death of Rahab Amani Karisa, Chief Officer, and Division of Blue Economy in the Department of Agriculture, Livestock Development and Blue Economy.
