I was hurt- Uhuru Kenyatta speaks hours after being ordered to surrender all his guns!

Former president Uhuru Kenyatta has revealed that during the raid at his son’s home on Friday 21st July, the government was attempted to plant drugs and guns on his two sons.

Speaking in a meeting with a news editor, revealed that the Friday’s night incident hurt him so much, especially after he received a distress call from his son Jomo Kenyatta.

He further denied claimed that he was high when he arrived at his son’s home.

“I went (to son’s home) because of a distress call from my son. I was extremely hurt,” Uhuru told the editor.

The former head of state further revealed that non of them has received an order to surrender their guns as claimed by government and the press.

During the interview, Uhuru revealed that his two sons, Jomo and Muhoho, owned three guns each and his daughter Ngina did not own any weapons.

He further made it clear that his son’s firearms were licensed, and it was meant to protect their families.

According to Uhuru, is son Jomo got licensing after the security was withdrawn, and Muhoho was stated to have an interest in guns due to his hobby of shooting birds in the Mwea Irrigation Scheme.

“I know there is no provision in law to extend the security of my children despite my request. I, therefore, encouraged them to apply and they followed due process,” He pinpointed.

The former head of state further offered a piece of advice to president William Ruto, saying that he should work for Kenyans who elected him, it doesn’t matter if he supported him or not, but he handed the power to him peacefully.

My advice to President Ruto is that power is fleeting and temporary, do the best for the country. It is your work to run the country not me even if I did not support you. I did my best and handed over power. More
