Tough orders president Ruto left to police about mass action before leaving the country.

President William Ruto on Sunday 26th of March 2023 jetted out of the country for a four days working tour in Germany and Belgium.

The head of state left the country just hours to Raila Odinga’s planned maandamano across the country as a push against Kenya Kwanza government.

Addressing the Nation on Sunday, Inspector General of Police Japheth Koome said that police will do anything necessary to make sure the Azimio team does not disrupt business in the country.

Koome said that police will be ready to deal with Raila’s mass action using teargas and rubber bullets o that to keep the country safe for all Kenyans.

“People are allowed to come to the city. However, if you have plans to bring violence and if you are armed with offensive weapons such as machetes, stones, and clubs, you will face the music,” said Koome.

The inspector General threatened to deal with the anyone without minding of their social status for the sake of the country’s stability.

“Regardless of your status, I will throw you into a Land Cruiser. I will not arrest anyone in Prados, and you will be taken into police custody.

“I do not even know what the server is. Why do they want to bring down the country because of a phenomenon that the common citizen does not even comprehend?

“Those are political issues that need political solutions. But when it comes to matters of security, I have a mandate as the IG to ensure the protection of property and life and I will not sleep on that job,” Koome warned. More
