Why the elder son of a family that was wiped out in kiambu was arrested!

Late evenings of 8th January 2021 ,Detectives arrested the eldest son of the 55 years old US based nurse, who was brutally murdered together with his wife, two children and his niece.

Lawrence Simon warunge, a 23 years old boy, is being held at Muthaiga police station in Nairobi County, as a prime suspect of the monstrous killing of his family members.

Lawrence, who is a student at a private university was nabbed at his hide out in lower Kabete in kiambu county, his girlfriend who sells goods at Biafra in Thika was also arrest in order to assist the investigating officers into the matter.

Investigation is ongoing on why he kept silence after his parents and his young ones were killed in cold blood and why he was in a hide out.

It’s said that, after police tracked his phone, the gadget was switched of in Naivasha, day after his family was wiped out, his clothes that he was putting on were burned around the same same area too.

Search for the murder weapons is currently going on, with DCI homicide detectives leading in unraveling the mystery. More
