Former Indian MP Killed live on TV in front of police

Things are not Okay in Indian as family of a former member of Parliament demand for justice after their two sons were shot dead while in police custody.

The former MP, who was convicted of kidnapping was killed alongside his brother while police were escorting them for a medical check-up.

In a dramatic footage that was widely shared across social media in India, a man was seen reaching over the shoulders of police to point a pistol at the temple of the former MP, Atiq Ahmed, whose turban is blown off as the gun discharges.

Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf Ahmed died within minutes after shooting as police detained three men suspected of the crime.

According to Indian press, assailants posed as journalists. One suspected surrendered immediately as police subdued others.

The crime happened as the two brothers were being brought, handcuffed from a hospital Prayagraj city in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh on Saturday evening. More
