Exposed: Why Muthama resigned as UDA chair despite being Ruto’s point man!

Former Machakos senator and president William Ruto number one confidant from Ukambani Johnson Muthama on Friday, 17th of February 2023 resigned as UDA chairman.

Muthama’s resignation shocked many as it came minutes after president William Ruto flew out of the country.

Addressing members of the press, Muthama said that he resigned after nominated to become a member of the Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC) and so that he can be vetted by parliamentarians for the new position

“I have handed over my resignation to the party headquarters. What I’m doing right now is handing over to the party secretariat,” he explained.

Muthama was recommended for the position commissioner by Public service Commission after an interview process, with eight other individuals on 30th December 2022. More
