Finally: Murathe speaks about Ruto, Raila coalition!

There has been endless rumors that DP William Ruto and the former prime minister, who is also the ODM party leader Raila Odinga are working on forming a coalition that will shake Uhuru allies.

So many leaders have so far aired their views on the idea. Some are supporting as others laugh at the whole thing.

Yesterday, Nyeri town member of parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu broke his silence about the matter.

The outspoken legislator, who is a strong ally to Uhuru and Raila termed Ruto, Raila coalition as a ‘waste of time’

“If Ruto and Raila were to work together, we are back to 2007. Mt Kenya would UNITE AWAY from both. If Uhuru did not support the Raila/Ruto coalition he would then easily swing the region to support anyone else,” Wambugu statement read in part.

Another very strong ally to the handshake faction, who is also the Jubilee party vice chairman David Murathe has broken the internet with his short and strong reply on matters Ruto, Raila coalition.

Murathe said, “I take my brief from two people, Uhuru and Jakom (Raila Odinga) and I can tell you the handshake is intact.

“By the way, if they want an alliance, provided they make Jakom the president, we have no problem with it.”

This simply means that Murathe has finally approved the two working together only that, his ego cannot alloy him to publicly denounce his boss President Uhuru Kenyatta. More
