Orange Democratic Movement party Secretary General Edwin Sifuna has clapped back and responded to the rumours being circulated on social media that he has been fired as ODM Party SG by Former prime minister Raila Odinga.
Sifuna, who has been trending for the better part of the day after rumors claimed that he had been fired by ODM leader Raila Odinga has complained that, people on social media have formed an habit of passing false information about him time to time.
“This exact time last year, it was said I was in quarantine with Corona…Today, you guys have fired me, then what will you do next year, kill me?” he posed.
His colleague, Saboti member of parliament Caleb Amisi weighed in and said that, people should stop spreading fake news about Parliamentarians without a concrete evidence or the truth of the matter.
He added and assured his fans on social media that Sifuna’s position in ODM as secretary general was still intact.
“This is fake news. Edwin Sifuna is in the ODM party to stay but we appreciate your continued publicity to the party,” Amisi said.
