A day after the Kakamega law maker met with hustler king, he had another lengthy meeting with his party leader, former prime minister Raila Odinga at his (Odinga) Karen home.

In the courtesy meeting with the son of the first deputy president of Kenya, Oparanya was accompanied by devolution cabinet secretary Eugene Wamalwa.

According to governor Oparanya, the meeting with his boss was meant to strengthen the ODM party in readiness for 2022 general election.

Wamalwa and Oparanya are said to have briefed Tinga about the new political developments in Western Kenya and the possible partnership to make in preparation for the big day.

First of all, Raila summoned Oparanya after hearing that he had a meeting with another party leader behind his back and he wanted to know every detail of the abrupt meetup.

Oparanya wanted the meeting to be secret. Apparently, the ‘unblicking’ eye of the media man caught up with them.

According to the Kakamega governor, he had scheduled a business meeting at the lodge when he met the DP, former Agriculture CS Mwangi Kiunjuri and his Sports counterpart Rashid Echesa. More
