Revealed: Why 5 Tanzanians Killed at Magufuli funeral had Kamba names!

Kenyans have been shocked after learning that the five Family members that died during the mourning of the late Tanzania president John Pombe Joseph Magufuli had Kenyan names.

The five kicked the bucket on 21st March 2021, following a stampede at Uhuru stadium where millions of Mourners were forcing their ways in to pay their last respect to Magufuli.

The body of 30 years old Suzan Ndana Mutwa was found alongside her childrenĀ Nathaniel Mwenda Mtuwa, Michelle Harry Mtuwa, Natalia Grance Mtuwa and Chrisian Allan Mtuwa.

As you can see, all these names resembles those of Kamba people from Kenya, which means that they were all Kamba speaking people leaving in Tanzania.

According to a Kenyan historian Levi Odhiambo Opiyo, the five are descendants of the Kenyan Kamba Community who settled in Tanzania which was known as the German East Africa.

The historian clarified that, their common language is Kamba from Kenya and they settled there during the long distance trade that happened in the 19th and early 20th Century. More
