BBI must pass – Oparanya warns Kenyans!

Kakamega governor Wycliffe Oparanya has said he is confident that 24 county Assemblies will pass the BBI bill as required by the law.

Oparanya said that he was happy with the way County Assemblies were handling the process of discussing the Bill while noting that as leaders they were waiting for the process to be completed before they take the documents to wananchi through public participation exercise.

Speaking during the burial of Kakamega county Child Officer investigate of Livestock and veterinary at Murhanda village, Shinyalu sub county, Oparanya said BBI meant good for Kenyans.

He added that devolved units were big winners as the constitutional changes have given more money to counties. More
