Ruto shocked after Raila begged him to stop calling him Mganga!

Former prime minister Raila Odinga, has once again called out on Deputy president William Ruto and expressed his displeasure over a constant slur directed to him as ‘Mganga’ (a witch doctor).

Speaking in Homabay county during the ordination and installation of a new bishop Michael Otieno Odiwo, of Catholic Diocese of Homabay, the ODM party leader reiterated that, he has no issues with the said physicians, as they help people with various sicknesses but insisted that, he is not one of them.

Odinga maintained that his stand in Christianity should not be questioned and that his faith in God and fidelity to church is like an open book.

“I am a Christian. There are those who refer to me as mtu ya vitendawili and Mganga and all sorts of things, but I want it to be known that I am truly a Christian.” Raila stated

The opposition leader took the opportunity and urged the members of the church to support the BBI , saying that it will promote unity and harmony in Kenya.

“They (church) have stood for what is right. That is why we want the church by our side as a partner (in BBI) process. We really want to walk this journey with the church.” he posed.

The handshaker founder further pointed out that, he was aware that church has raised number of issues regarding the current BBI constitutional draft.

Odinga said that he and President uhuru are ready to negotiate with the church so as to stand on the same line before referendum. More
