Why Uhuru wants Ruto to be like Moi!

President Uhuru Kenyatta asked his DP, William Ruto to be like the former President of Kenya, Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi, who rule for over 20 years.

Speaking during a memorial service that was held to celebrate one year since the former head of state went the way of all ghost, the son of the first president of Kenya asked his deputy to be like his father’s deputy.

Kenyatta said that Moi served his father for years without any betrayal, until when his term ended and he took over the country.

Uhuru compared his reign to that of his late father, who ruled Kenya as her first president from 1964 to 1978.

The son of mzee Jomo asked DP William Ruto to let him finish his term as president ands stop chasing for power too early.

Kenyans however had mixed reactions on this. Some say that President Kenyatta is trying to remind Kenyans that his father was the first president of Kenya.

Some section of Kenyans say that President Kenyatta did not show good relationship with his DP like his father did for all those 14 years he was in power. More
