Kirinyaga governor Ann Mumbi Waiguru has left Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga worried after her latest remarks about the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
Ann has warned the president and his handshake brother about the team that was chosen to popularize the document in Mount Kenya region.
Waiguru, who of late has been changing tunes on matters BBI warned Odinga and Kenyatta that the team that was chosen to sell the document are not influential enough.
The mount Kenya BBI secretariat comprises of Kirinyaga Senator Charles Kibiru, MPs Maoka Maore (Ntonyiri), Ruth Mwaniki (Kigumo), Peter Mwathi (Limuru) and Jane Njiru (Embu).

It’s a misnomer that Waiguru was left out of the team despite her being the governor of that region.
Waiguru warned that BBI is a political document and that it should be sold by people who command enough influence in Mt. Kenya.

“While I wish them all the best, I must remind them and their appointers that BBI is a political process and if it is not led by people the community recognizes as political influencers, it will have challenges, and that is the nature of politics,” she said.
On earlier rumors, Ann Waiguru had showed interest of supporting DP William Ruto on his 2022 journey.
She said that Ruto has made mount Kenya his backyard and that everyone is now singing hustler nation song. More
