Politician jailed for years after insulting judges at the supreme court!

Uganda’s supreme court has jailed former presidential aspirant for using abusive language including calling judges ‘ incompetent fools’.

According to local media in uganda, Ivan samuel ssebadduka was sentenced upto 3 years in prison for using abusive language against the court.

This is after Mr. Ssebadduka filed a petition at the supreme court seeking to stop a requirement for presidential aspirant to collect nomination signatures.

Chief justice Alfonce Owinyo-Dollo, said that “criticising against judges should be accurate and fair and it should not infringe on the right of others”

This is after ssebadduka used the offensive remarks defending the petition at the court. More
