“Hon Justus Murunga was a hardworking and selfless leader whom we worked together to develop Matungu Constituency.

I am saddened by his untimely death which has robbed Kakamega County a focused leader whose contribution in the development of our County will be missed.

The fact that he has succumbed to Covid-19 means the virus is with us and does not choose who to infect. Therefore, I urge all Kenyans to strictly observe all measures put in place to combat the spread of the virus.

May God grant his family fortitude and strength to bear his loss.” More
