Speaking via senior United Democratic Alliance (UDA) officials, the president issued crazy demands to Musyoka after the two were seen together in Mwingi.

National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung’wah and Aaron Cheruiyot of senate criticized Kalonzo, urging him to compel Uhuru to disclose any alleged mismanagement during his time in office.

The two leaders asserted that Uhuru’s sudden public appearance on Sunday was a direct response to their plans to initiate the establishment of a State Capture Commission, spearheaded by Ichung’wah.

Interestingly, both leaders are members of the National Dialogue Committee (NADOC), which is co-chaired by Kalonzo and Ichung’wah.

“It is time we had a candid discussion ( in public) with Uhuru Kenyatta on the economy, the effects of State capture on the economy, and the mess we are sorting in this Country’s economy. Please get him on stage,” Kimani Ichungwa told Kalonzo Musyoka adding that he was happy to see Kalonzo bring Uhuru back to political limelight.

In alignment with his National Assembly colleague and fellow NADOC member, Cheruiyot expressed agreement, stating that the Kenya Kwanza administration was actively pursuing the recovery of embezzled public resources.

He elaborated, asserting that Uhuru’s sudden return to the public eye was a deliberate attempt to undermine the proposed State Capture Commission.

“I agree with Kenyans telling us to slow down on taxation and go hard on recovering what’s stashed abroad first,” Aaron Cheruiyot stated. More
