CS Kindiki statement after Ruto’s Governor was attacked, her cow laughter and mattress burnt down with rowdy youth!

Interior cabinet secretary Kithure Kindiki breaks silence hours after Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza and her deputy clashed during an event causing chaos among their supporters on Sunday 18th in Meru county.

Kindiki fired a warning short to governor Kawira Mwangaza and her deputy Isaac Mutuma following a violent clash between their supporters.

Reports indicates that the ugly confrontation between the two leaders’ supporters saw a cow donated to Governor Mwangaza’s foundation slaughtered and the mattresses donated burnt.

It reported that the governor was holding her event activities at Maua Igembe South, Meru county where she was distributing household items to the locals under the Okolea Program.

Maua, Igembe south its said to be the home of her deputy Isaac  who recently clashed with his boss and they hardly see eye to eye.

Reacting to the chaos news, interior CS has ordered the arrest of the supporters allied to two leaders.

“The violent chaos pitting criminals supporting the Governor and Deputy Governor of Meru County respectively must stop forthwith.

“Security agencies have commenced the hunt for the criminals and will round them up, arrest and prosecute every one of them,” Kindiki ordered.

The CS further assured that the investigation will start to expose the planner and the financier of the violence on that day.

“Citizens, including political leaders of all ranks and all political parties/formations, must carry out their activities lawfully and peacefully without exception.

“No violence whatsoever will be tolerated as it undermines national security, the rule of law and makes our Country look backwards,” the CS said. More
