Congratulations! President Ruto surprises Gideon Moi with a Multi-billion deal, leaves Raila sobbing!

It’s a done deal as president William Ruto finally wins KANU party leader and Raila Odinga number confidant Gideon Moi’s loyalty.

This comes hours after former KANU secretary General Nick Salat lead dozens of the former ruling party’s defectors into Kenya Kwanza.

Reports now has it that, the son of Sugoi has provided his former political rival the license to generate and supply power.

Ruto’s energy minister Davis Chirchir on Saturday, 18th of March 2023 visited and inspected and also approved Moi’s multi-billion power plant  in Menengai constructed by Sosian Energy.

Gideon Moi’s son, Kigen Moi was among people that took CS Chirchir around the Geothermal power plant and later explained that it will start generating power in April 2023. 

“We expect to be in operation by end of April 2023 (early power) and June 2023 in terms of full power. In the first phase, we are expecting 22 Megawatts because Units 1 and 2 are ready,” he said.

This is a heavy blow to Raila Odinga as this comes just hours to his Monday’s mass action where he was expecting all his allies including Moi to show him support in his attempts to ouster president Ruto. More
