Exposed: Why Raila postponed his Mombasa rally at the last minute!
|Azimio la Umoja one Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga has canceled his Mombasa county much awaited Rally that was scheduled on Saturday ,February 25th.
Through a statement sent by Orange democratic movement (ODM) Director of Communications, Philip Etale, the coalition will instead hold the rally some where else.
The statement indicated that the Raila’s led coalition will he hold the rally in Kakamega county, adding that they will hold a people’s Baraza meeting in Kitale town, Trans Nzoia County on Sunday, February 26.
The DoC noted that the changes was aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness within the coalition.
“Following consultations among the top leadership of Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Coalition and the grassroots leaders on the ongoing nationwide public engagement, the following changes have been made to next weekend’s calendar of activities.
“To better coordinate its activities, the party made a decision to clear with western Kenya, before proceeding to other parts of the country,” the statement read in part
