Exposed; Why Ruto jetted out of the country hours before Raila’s mega rally in Kibra!

President William Ruto on Saturday, 4th of February 2023 jetted out of the country hours before Raila Odinga’s planned mega rally in Kibra scheduled on Sunday 5th.

The head of state flew to Bujumbura City in Burundi together with other East African heads of state including Tanzania’s Samia Suluhu.

Addressing members of the press, his communication team said that the son of Sugoi went to attend extraordinary summit on the worsening security situation in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). 

“The summit will be evaluating the security situation in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo,” the communication stated.

Among other African heads of states who accompanied Ruto include; Presidents Samia Suluhu (Tanzania), Félix Tshisekedi (Democratic Republic of the Congo), Salva Kiir (South Sudan), Paul Kagame (Rwanda), Yoweri Museveni (Uganda) and host Évariste Ndayishimiye (the President of Burundi).

This happens as Raila plans to have a mega rally at Kibra, his main bedroom in Nairobi as a continuous push against Ruto’s government. More
