Sakaja on fire for allegedly funding Raila’s Rallies

Former Nairobi senator, who is now the governor of the great city of Nairobi and who was elected on a Kenya Kwanza ticket Johnson Sakaja is under fire.

Nairobi governor Sakaja

This is after reports emerged that the super governor has been working closely with Azimio la Umoja one Kenya leader Raila Odinga.

Addressing members of the press on Tuesday, Nairobi County Assembly minority leader and Ruto ally  Anthony Kiragu said that had evidence linking Sakaja to Azimio’s Monday Kamukunji rally.

According to Kiragu, Sakaja provided a venue where Azimio would fundraise and mobilize their members during the weekend in preparation for the Monday rally.

The  Waithaka Ward MCA said that the Nairobi county boss also contributed money towards the rally adding that the money was collected in his (Sakaja’s) Office.

“He donated a charter hall on Sunday afternoon where groups were meeting during the day to strategize, to mobilize and do fundraising for that event.

“We are aware that he did not just provide the venue but also financed it and money was collected at his private office at Riverside. You can fool some people sometimes but you cannot fool all people all the time,” said Kiragu.

The outspoken leader now wants Sakaja to come out clean and declare his political affiliation and stop lying to Kenyans that he is in Kenya Kwanza.

“We are appealing to him that he should not wear a yellow t-shirt during the day and a blue one at night,” he added. More
