Stand off as Ngunjiri Wambugu slam Jeremiah Kioni over his remarks about president Ruto!

Former Nyeri town member of parliament Ngunjiri Wambugu has taken a swipe at jubilee party secretary general Jeremiah Kioni over his recent remarks about 2022 presidential elections.

In a statement on his official social media page, Ngunjiri has warned Kioni to stop the finger-pointing game and accept they lost in the August 9th presidential election and let the country move forward.

He went ahead to say that Kenya does not belong only to politician, and that around twenty thousand were competing, fourteen million votes were casted but after all fifty million citizens were affected and those who won have started working so it was up to those who lost to call it a day and focus on the future.

“The IEBC finger-pointing must end. NO ONE WILL WIN IT. Around 20k were competing, 14M voted; BUT all 50M are affected.

“Those who won – however – now work. Those who lost, plan better. Kenya doesn’t belong only to politicians.” Wambugu pin pointed.

Former Raila’s chief chef sentiments comes barely hours after Jubilee secretary General Jeremiah Kioni, during a press conference on Wednesday 18th January 2023, claimed that Azimio leader Raila Odinga emerged the victory in August 9th presidential election with 8.1 million while president William Ruto came second with 5.9 million.

“We’ve seen that 59% of the constituencies cannot be verified with absolute certainty. What can be verified is, Raila Odinga won the elections with 8,170,355 votes representing 57.53% of the votes cast. Ruto got 5,915,973 votes, representing 41.66%.” Kioni claimed.
