Miguna Miguna reveals details of his meeting with president William Ruto in Nyanza!

During president William Ruto’s Nyanza tour, he met all political leaders from the region among them, the out spoken lawyer Miguna Miguna, who has now revealed the details of their meeting.

Miguna Miguna in a statement, has revealed that the head of state  issued him an apology for his deportation to Canada back in 2018.

The fearless lawyer, however, pin pointed that he accepted the apology from the commander in chief and the government.

“President William Ruto, the President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander In Chief of the Defence Forces, earlier this morning apologized to me on his behalf and on behalf of the Government for the brutality inflicted upon me by the previous regime. I accept the apology,” he said.

The lawyer was deported in March 2018 after taking part in ODM leader Raila Odinga’s unofficial swearing-in as the ‘Peoples President’ at Uhuru Park.

Hw was allowed back in to the country on 20th of October 2022 after president William Ruto government issued him with another travelling passport and also lifted red alerts that had been imposed on him, and facilitated his return.

“The government of William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua has lifted the Red Alerts Uhuru Kenyatta illegally imposed against me with the connivance of Raila Odinga,” Miguna stated on October 12, 2022.
