|Captain Gilbert Kibe has quit as Communication Authority Chairperson.

In letter addressed to president William Ruto, Mr. Kibe pointed out that he has resigned due to personal interests.
“to personal interests that I wish to pursue, I hereby tender my resignation as chairman of the Board of Directors of the Communications Authority of Kenya with effect from 01 December 2022.
“I take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for according me the opportunity to serve in this important and strategic regulatory agency for the last seven months,” Kibe wrote
Information and Communication Cabinet Secretary Eliud Owalo, Who was copied by Kibe, confirmed to have received the letter.
Former president Uhuru Kenyatta had Kibe as the Chairman of the CAK Chairperson on 17 May, 2022. More
