Drama as South Africa president Ramaphosa exposes Ruto’s hustling skills!

South Africa President Cyril Ramaphosa on Wednesday, 9th of November 2022 triggered light moments after he jokingly exposed president William Ruto’s hustling skills.

Addressing delegates at the International Conference Centre (KICC) during the Kenya- South Africa High-Level Summit, Ramaphosa exposed how the Kenya president sold him Kenyan tea and coffee backstage.

“President Ruto is an excellent salesman, all morning, he has been trying to sell me Kenyan tea, coffee, and avocado. As you see me, I’m full of Kenyan tea,” the president said.

Ramaphosa applauded the confident showed by Kenya’s Ruto during the discussions that led to the deal allowing Kenyans to visit South Africa for 90 days without visas.

According to Cyril, President Ruto is a great leader and he will steer Kenya forward despite challenges facing he Nation.

“President Ruto looks very fit, I don’t know if he was a boxer, he was able to twist my arm and we were able to agree on the new dispensation that we are introducing.

President Ruto is action-oriented and we have ministers on both sides who are determined to improve the relationship between South Africa and Kenya.

“When we talk about trade, it is not just one way, it’s not only for South Africa to sell. I want to see Kenyan tea and coffee in South Africa as well” Ramaphosa stated. More
