Trouble kicks in as Miguna Miguna disagree with president William Ruto’s government!

NRM general Miguna Miguna is not a happy man after the latest move by President William Ruto’s government.

Reports indicates that the outspoken lawyer disagreed with reports indicating that government was planning to stop funding public universities.

In a statement on November 5th, 2022, the fiery lawyer pointed out that that all public universities in the country should be funded by public funds.

“Public universities must be funded by public funds, unless you want to privatize all public universities!” Miguna tweeted.

Miguna’s remarks came after reports emerged on Saturday November, 5th that the gornment will stop funding the higher institutions.

Education cabinet secretary Ezekiel Machogu, encouraged university student to look for another alternative of generating income.

“I’m going to move around each and every university in Kenya because a number is faced with financial problems and we are encouraging that they must generate their own income because the exchequer as it is now is not going to continue funding more,” Machogu stated. More
