Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua has once again taken a swipe at opposition leader Raila Odinga after claiming that he is being forced to join the government.
Speaking in Murang’a county during a church service held at Kenol, the angry former Mathira lawmaker told off Odinga, told him to mind his own business.
According to Gachagua, president William Ruto and him have no business with Raila Odinga and that he should just play his role as the opposition leader.
“Yesterday I saw him saying that he will not be coerced or intimidated to joining our government. Listen to me…We are not looking for you and we have no time.
“The last time he entered into Uhuru’s government, he destroyed it,” Angry Gachagua said in front of his boss the president.
This comes a day after Raila claimed that he is being blackmailed into joining the government adding that he will not be forced or intimidated.
“Mimi vile nimesimama hapa nasema wakati wangu wa kuongea haijafika lakini itafika na mimi nimesema sitarudi nyuma…kama watu wetu wameungana pamoja nitasimama imara na sisi hauwezi tishwa ati tuungane na serikali,” said Odinga. More
