Azimio fall apart: Martha Karua must apologize to Raila, Azimio leaders now demands!

Murang’a women representative Betty Maina has taken a swing at Narc Kenya party leader Martha Karua after failing to sell Azimio la Umoja one Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga’s presidential bid in mount Kenya well.

Betty Maina now says the Azimio presidential running mate Karua owes Raila Odinga an apology for not bringing much input.

Speaking to the media on Sunday 11th September 2022, Maina pointed out that all the votes Raila got from Mt. Kenya was all her effort and Karua’s factor.

“I respect women in leadership and Karua but I would urge her to apologize to Raila because she brought no votes,” she said.

She went ahead and advised president-elect William Ruto to move on and work for Kenya and not accept to be derailed.

“I want to urge the president-elect to focus, move on, serve the country, reclaim the lost dignity of our economy and our education,” she said.

Betty Maina’s remarks came few days after Karua said she might consider moving to the East African Court over the Supreme Court verdict, that upheld Ruto’s win. More
