The previous Nairobi governance that was under NMS and governor Ann Kananu had made lives of Bodaboda riders hard after impounding their motorbikes.

Governor Sakaja, on Monday, 29th of August 2022 ordered all motorbikes impounded by the county government released to the owners and all cases regarding them withdrawn with immediate effect.

The governor also ordered the City Inspectorate unit to  identify official drop-off and pick-up points for boda boda riders within the Central Business District (CBD.

Sakaja might anger Uhuru with this order because hundreds of Motorbikes were impounded after Kenyatta order country crackdown on all riders after the Wangari Mathai road incident.

The new governor also promised to bring changes in Nairobi by correcting all the mistakes that were made by the previous government. More
