Gloves off: Ruto’s shocker response to Raila after saying that supreme court should declare him president-elect!!
|President-elect William Ruto has finally broke his silence after the Azimio la Umoja-one Kenya coalition presidential candidate Raila Odinga publicly said that the supreme court should declare him president-elect.

Speaking from Karen on Friday 26th august 2022, Ruto asked his competitors to give the Supreme Court an ample time to prepare for a verdict on the case challenging his presidential victory.
He went a head and say the court had the capacity to make a decision on the issues were raised concerning elections.
Dr. Ruto pointed out that there was no need to lecture the Judiciary on what to do maintaining that the Judiciary is an independent arm of government.
“Let me ask our competitors that we want to move the country to the next level. Please allow the judicial system in Kenya to make a determination of the issues that you have taken to court.
“There is no need why anybody would want to lecture the judiciary on what to do. The judiciary is an independent arm of government and they have what it takes to make a determination on the issues taken before them,” Ruto stated.
The president-elect alleged that his competitors were on the mission to destroy the IEBC chairman Wafula Chebukati, maintaining that he will not allow them.
His remarks come few days after the former prime minister said that the supreme court should declare him as the president-elect, saying that there was no need for a re-run if the court found out that he had won the just concluded general polls.
“Tunataka mahakama iseme kwamba sisi ndio tumeshinda, tutangazwe washindi badala ya kurudi katika uchaguzi tena twende tukachukue kiapo,” Raila said at a rally in Mombasa. More
