President Uhuru Kenyatta has exposed his deputy William Ruto further revealed why he opted to support his long time rival Raila Odinga of Azimio la Umoja.

With just 4 days to the next week’s general election,  President Kenyatta intensified his criticism towards Ruto, this time addressing the role he played in Jubilee’s tenure in office.

While commissioning several projects in Makueni and Mombasa counties that include the Kipevu Oil Terminal, Liwatoni fish processing plant, Makupa Bridge and Dongo Kundu Phase Two, the Head of State dismissed the Deputy President as an insincere leader.

He pointed out that the UDA party leader who the same time is his deputy was untrustworthy and he cannot deliver his mandate to Citizens.

“Sipendi udanganyifu na ukiwa huna haki basi wewe sio kiongozi. Kuna wengine walisema shughuli na kazi za serikali ziliisha 2017 na hakuna kitu kimeendelea ati kwa sababu ya handshake…hii barabara ambayo tumekamilisha ilianza 2020…sasa labda ni mimi sijui kuhesabu miaka ama labda 2020 ilikua mbele ya 2014.

“Nikisema ya kwamba huyo ni muongo ni ukweli ama si ukweli? Nikumuekelea ama ni ukweli? Si kazi imefanyika…imeisha. Na tukimaliza hii mradi Mombasa itakuwa island,” he said.

The head of state went ahead and faulted his deputy for deceiving Kenyans that his administration has failed to deliver its mandate in the second term due to handshake.

He carried on and defended his legacy and at the same time warning Mombasa residents to be wary of the empty elections promises by his deputy.

“Na ndiyo nasema kama unaweza danganya kwa kile kitu kidogo kama hii na sasa ukipewa ukubwa utafanya nini? Tunataka watu wanaongoza na ukweli na sio udanganyifu,” he stated. More
