Nairobi Senator and incoming governor Johnson Sakaja has come up with fresh demands after Commission for University Education finally recognized his TEAM university degree.
The senator now wants Professor Chacha Nyaigoti-Chacha, the commissions Chairman jailed for six months over alleged disobedience of a court order that suspended revocation of his degree certificate.
In the contempt of court application, Sakaja says the CUE chairman has disregarded court orders for maintenance of status quo in relation to the degree certificate saga.
“We urge this court to be pleased to order the immediate arrest of Prof. Chacha Nyaigoti-Chacha. He should be presented in court and adjudged guilty for contempt of court, for breach of orders of the Honorable Court issued on June 15, 2022,” Mutuma, Sakaja’s lawyer said.
The leader also wants the professor jailed for a period of six months at Kamiti maximum prison. More
