Via his social media account, the outspoken leader told Kenyans to stop blaming the senator for being caught too soon but rather blame those who hide behind the house of God in the name of being born again.

“The “pengine hana degree” saga in the capital city is a pointer to the great rot that has invaded our leadership. This is exasperated by the huge gap between who we are, and who we want to be seen to be.

“The desperation to appear to be what you are not is so high, leading to serious economic, social and lately academic fraud.

“The urge to appear the youngest, richest, most educated, God-fearing, honest, role model all in one, is not easy. Maybe it is time to appreciate leaders for who they are, even those bila degree.

“To many, the urge to appear to be ‘a man of God’, even when the contrary is so glaring, has led to serious multiple personality disorder.

“We should not blame him too harshly. Others before him used the same route and got away with it. Maybe we should blame him for being caught too soon!

“In the future, before undertaking such a critical mission, it would be beneficial to read the book, Lying Intelligently by The Yellow Brothers,” Lee posted on his social media account. More
