Former vice president and Ukambani kingpin Kalonzo Musyoka left president uhuru Kenyatta shocked after he claimed that Raila Odinga’s votes were stolen in the previous elections.
Kalonzo, who recently signed Coalition OKA agreement with Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga has been pushing for the coalition to offer him the vice president position.
Speaking in Maili Tisa Kajiado central during a Wiper party event, the outspoken leader criticized DP Ruto saying he conducted an unfair UDA nominations saying the process was marred by irregularities.
According to Musyoka, Ruto rigged both 2013 and 2017 elections saying Raila was to emerge winner if not for Ruto’s dubious means.
The senior council however distanced president Uhuru Kenyatta from the claims saying that Ruto stole the votes without the knowledge of his boss the president.
“During the 2013 and 2017 elections, Ruto stole our votes. We had won the elections with Raila. I have come to realize that it is Ruto who was rigging elections and not Uhuru,” said Kalonzo adding that Ruto should not try it this time round. More
