Kenyans have been eagerly waiting for DP William Ruto and his opponent, former premier and opposition leader Raila Odinga to name their running mates.

Rumours has it that the second in command is planning to choose a lady as his deputy with Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru being in the equation.

There are many reasons as to why Ruto does not want to expose his running mate now as he waits for Raila to make the first move.

As we all know, the Azimio team have been using blackmail as a way to win supporters and destroy Ruto’s name.

If Ruto dares to name his mate early, Raila Odinga team will immediately start investigations of any graft allegations and soon start exposing him or her of being a thief who can’t be trusted.
