President Uhuru Kenyatta has finally broke his silence after his Friend Raila Odinga was stoned inside DP Ruto bedroom during final send off of Mzee Kibor.
Speaking during a Sunday service at AIC Church in Pipeline, Nairobi County, on Sunday, April 3, Uhuru condemned the incident terming it as unfortunate.
The head of state called upon leaders to lead by example especially this electioneering period so that to avoid blood shed after election.
“But most importantly, especially for us political leaders is we behave in a manner that allows our people to live in peace and to go about their business regardless of who sits in which position.
“So ask ourselves, if you take a stone or a slasher to go and cut your friend instead of waiting for the next five years to elect your leader of choice, then you have lost direction,” said Uhuru.
Kenyans’ especially those allied to Ruto have been calling on the president to address the incident in which Ruto was stoned in Kondele, Kisumu and take action just like he did with Raila case. More
