NRM general Miguna Miguna has taken a swipe at President Uhuru Kenyatta after endorsing opposition leader Raila Odinga instead of his deputy William Ruto.
Miguna warned that president Uhuru Kenyatta will be very ashamed just like Botswana former president, Ian khama, who challenged his deputy and named the opposition leader as his successor.
“Botswana’s former President, Ian Khama, challenged his deputy to a succession pissing contest, fled the ruling party and joined the opposition.
“On April 1, 2018, Mokgweetsi Masisi beat Khama like a burukenge. Khama fled into exile in South Africa in 2021.
“For more than 40 years, Ian Khama believed that Botswana was an extension of his family’s farm – just like despot Uhuru Kenyatta deludes himself that Kenya belongs to the Kenyatta family.
“The name Khama was synonymous with power and the presidency. Khama expected the citizens of Botswana to follow him blindly like sheep.
“Until they proved to him that they are sovereign. Is history repeating itself in Kenya?” Miguna posted on his social media page. More
