Sonko explained why he killed the former AG on social media!

Former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko, on Sunday 10th October 2021 issued an apology to Charles Njonjo’s family and Kenyans at large for “killing” the former Attorney General on social media.

Sonko fell a victim to unverified reports that were viral on social media on Saturday night alleging that the veteran lawyer had passed on.

Sonko send his condolences message to the family without knowing that, the news on social media were fake and the the former AG was alive and kicking.

“I sincerely wish to apologise to the family of the former AG Charles Njonjo and Kenyans in general for the misleading information that Charles had gone to be with the Lord.

“However I learnt the same from a Mr. Salim Lone who is a close friend of Charles Njonjo but who has since apologized to the Njonjo’s family and the public for the misleading information through his tweet. Charles may you live longer than your current age,” he posted.

The Family of Charles Njonjo clarified that their kin was alive and enjoying his weekend, rubbished the claims that their kin had gone the way of all ghosts.

Off late, Mike Sonko is very active on Social media, updating Kenyans on everything happening in his life. It seems like after he lost his governor seat, things turned around and he is now a motivational speaker. More
