DP William Ruto has defended Interior Cabinet secretary Fred Matiang’i, Principal secretary Karanja Kibicho and Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai after withdrawing his security.
The trio were to be grilled by parliamentary committee on Wednesday, 1st of September 2021, to explain the procedure they used in downgrading the second in command.
Kenyans were left bewildered after the son of Sugoi defended the same people who downgraded him by withdrawing his official security.
Via his social media account, the Kieleweke competitor and constitution champion said that, parliament should not waste their time in matters of not great concern.
Ruto want the committee to let Matiang’i, Kibicho and Mutyambai be judged by God for their wrong doings for he believes that everything happens with a purpose.
“PARLIAMENTARY time should not be WASTED on non-issues. The Administration Police is a PROFESSIONAL SECURITY SERVICE and those who think it’s a down grade are WRONG.
“Parliament should instead focus on DEPLOYMENT to serious security SITUATIONS in areas where bandits are causing mayhem and destruction,” said DP Ruto. More
