Landlords wants government to tell them what to do on matters rent.

As Coronavirus is continuing to cause unrest through out the country and people’s income going down daily, tenants have found it hard to pay house rents.

Most people would pay their house rents by 5th of every month, but this month was different. This is because, so many businesses have closed down and employees have been send home with no salary.

Some landlords are urging their tenants to pay their house rents, arguing that, they have pending loans that they have to pay.

The landlords have however said that, they are ready to comply with any government’s directives on rent waiver during this tough time.

This happens as COVID-19 cases in Kenya are continuing to increase daily. More
