Gatundu South member of parliament Moses Kuria was kicked out of his own house, people’s empowerment party (PEP). by members.
Reports indicates that, the argument in the party led to the DP Ruto ally being ousted from his position as the party leader and ultimately as a member of the party.
Watson Simiyu, the party’s national chairman admitted to a local daily that there are some existing differences between Hon. Kuria and other party officials.
Further, he revealed that the issues came up after the party’s candidate won in Mt. Kenya region, in Gaturi ward and Juja constituency, beating jubilee party candidate in December 2020 and may 2021 but-elections.
It’s said that, Moses Kuria wanted the party to rebrand so as to be online with deputy president William Ruto’s hustler movement, something that angered other senior members of the PEP party. More
