Upon arrival of Tanzania president Samia Suluhu on 4th May 2021, President Uhuru Kenyatta took the liberty of showing her around the state house together with his wife, first lady Margaret Kenyatta.
The Tanzania leader visited kenya two weeks after she visited Uganda in order to strengthen the relationship between the two countries and East African as a whole
The head of state had a long chat with her excellency that lead to the two signing a deal worth ksh 100billion.
The said deal involved 600 kilometers pipeline that will be constructed to pass through the port city of Tanga to Mombasa.
It’s said that, the pipeline will transport natural gas from Mnazi-bay gas field in southern Tanzania near the border with Zanzibar.
This amazing project will benefit the two countries by creating over 51000 jobs across Kenya and Tanzania. More
